Who me?

Yes! You do indeed have an awesome courageous skill guaranteed to overcome obstacles even if you’re not aware of it.

Last week I had an exploratory op for a health scare… Thankfully looks like nothing to worry about. The next day was photoshoot prep, aka nails and hair done, for gorgeous website and social media photos. The next day… photoshoot in town.

And the next day, assigned for rest, I started feeling unwell.

On day four of some kind of bug, I woke knowing I’d gone down the tubes!

Although physically feeling better, I didn’t want to get out of bed. I didn’t want to do stuff. I felt helpless, hopeless and inadequate. Rolling back into my duvet felt sooo seductive.

Bottom line?

I didn’t want to face reality.

And my obstacle?

Fear. I’m being called to a massive personal and professional change; an upgraded expression of my mission on earth through higher/expanded energies and skill set.

And I’m freakin’ freaking out with what and who I’m being called to do and be!

Whatever your obstacle, internal or external, the sneaky old gremlin at its source is usually a fear.

Fear of not being good enough, being found out as a fraud, being thought weird, losing something or someone, never finding another job, life partner, home, etc etc etc… And, finally, a fear of being annihilated one way or another.

After days of sleeping off the bug and nothing more strenuous than watching Chicago Med, I knew if I kept on doing what I’d been doing I’d go even further down the tubes.

I sat on the edge of my bed and said firmly to my hands, ‘I have to get out of this funk!’

Kettle on. Morning practice re-asserted. Barefoot walk round garden, inspirational reading, internal focussing and journaling. And…

Back into ME energy and creating a post in my Wild Courageous Women group about the higher/expanded work I’m being called to be and do that’s so scary…

And that awesome courageous skill which overcame my fearful obstacle?

The skill of making a choice and then acting/doing in the direction of that choice.

Whether you believe it or not, it’s hard-wired. Applying it increases its muscle strength and you can have a go at strengthening it right now.

Reflect on what your obstacle is and what can you do about it? Even if it’s only your equivalent of ‘I have to get out of this funk!’ you’ll have taken the first step, made a choice, from which all else follows…

Well done you!

Love and warm wild wishes…
